Grad Hired as Sales Executive for North American Title Company's San Diego Region

Alexandre Morales, who lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida prior to moving to Southern California in 2009, has degrees in Fashion Design and Business Management from FIDM. Since graduating, she's worked in the mortgage and title insurance fields, and was recently hired as Sales Executive for North American Title Company's (NATC) San Diego region. 

She launched her career in the industry in San Diego several years ago as the Marketing and Events Coordinator for Benchmark Mortgage, and subsequently took a position as a Sales Executive at Stewart Title in San Diego. "I love San Diego," Alex said. "There is so much to do, great weather, a lot of outdoor activities, and so many little pockets of town that are so different from one another, which is cool."

With nearly 1,000 associates and a network of branches throughout the U.S., NATC is one of the largest real estate settlement service providers in the nation. Although she's not working in a creative industry, Alex said FIDM helped prepare her for this career in a few different ways. "The professors always encouraged creative thinking, and I come across a lot of scenarios where I find myself having to think outside the box or set myself apart," she explained.

"They also taught me patience since we had to sit in one spot working on projects for hours on end, which is pretty parallel to what goes on in the real world and in my career some days." At NATC, her chief mission is helping her customers stay at the forefront of the most impactful technology and systems to bring efficiency to each transaction. "This will not only enhance their ability to serve their clients more effectively, but will give them the competitive edge to build their own companies far into the future," she said.
